Special holiday message - Veterans day weekend:
Veterans Day is a day to honor all the Men & Woman who have served in this country in both wartime & peacetime. It is a day to remember those who believed in this country, its people, & the values upon which it is based enough to offer their lives to protect those gifts. It's a day where Men & Woman who protect our freedom should be honored & respected for what they have given to each & every one of us, this country & the world. It is also a day to appreciate the courage & strength of the Men & Woman who put their lives on the line, postpone their lives & wear a uniform to keep us all safe. One never knows when one might be called on to fight. This day reminds us that without their sacrifice, all that we have would never have been possible.
In my opinion, once someone signs that piece of paper saying they're going to war, they then become someone I appreciate & honor. Sometimes people need "wartime" to recognize these hero's, but in my opinion, I think these hero's should be honored all the time & not only on Veterans Day. With that being said, when I think of veterans day I also think about military families. Think about it -- they are left behind & have so much strength to handle everyday life without their loved ones. They worry about death, but at the same time they have eminence pride for the hero in their family. I applaud every person who is in the military, whether sitting at a desk or in the US fighting overseas or retired & I also applaud all of the people who give them the strength to fight for our freedom. You guys are truly champions.
To all who have served in our military, thank you. I thank you for protecting my family's freedom, as well as many other families across the world. The sacrifices you have made in honor, & duty to our country are extremely worthy of praise & will never be forgotten. We will always remember your courage, strength, & patriotism forever & always. God Bless the brave Men & Women who risked their lives to preserve our freedom, your legacy will never go unnoticed. I'm proud to wear the colors red, white & blue because of our brave soldiers who fought & are still fighting for our freedom. Thank you for your hard work, dedication & service. Thank you for serving our country & protecting our freedom. Each & everyone of you are truly American hero's in my book.
