Happy valentines day 2018.

Special holiday message - Valentines day:

Young teenagers, Men & Woman seem to forget what Valentines day truly is & how most people celebrate it, so in this short blog, I will briefly talk about what Valentines day means to most people.

First of all, Valentines day is not ONLY for those who have a significant other. Valentines day is not about feeling lonely to the point where you have to "hook" up with someone just for the sake of it. It's not about having sex or losing your virginity to your significant other just to "prove" that you love them on this specific day. Valentines day is not about blowing your money away by buying or receiving expensive gifts, cards, candy, or flowers for others. Valentines day is not about "faking" your feelings or emotions for another person by acting like you care or love them. If these beliefs are what you think most people do on Valentines day, then you've got some growing up to do

So what is Valentines day?

Well first & foremost, Valentines day can be spent & shared with anyone, not just your significant other. You can share & spend this day with parents, relatives, friends, co-workers & other people who you love or are close too. With that being said, Valentines day is really a holiday where we think about our significant other (or anyone else) by giving them something small, but inexpensive. It can be a heartfelt card, flowers, a teddy bear, a bracelet, heart shaped candy & whatever else comes to mind. It can be anything thoughtful that comes from the heart. It can be as simple as taking your significant other (or anyone else) to a night out for dinner, or even giving those a hug or a kiss while telling them how much you love them. Although you should show your love for others everyday -- this particular day is an opportunity to show your appreciation & express your love through your actions towards one or more people who mean a lot to you, so it's wise to show a little extra love on this day. Most importantly though, Valentine's Day is an overall holiday for reflecting & commemorating the past & current love-relationships in your life, as well as those that you have gained & lost throughout your life because if it wasn't for the experiences you've had in the past (good or bad) then you wouldn't be standing where you're at now. So be thankful for what hasn't worked out in the past (whether it's your significant other or anyone else) & be grateful that you've moved on in your relationships to bigger & better things.

Happy Valentines day to everyone!
