My belief's on Christianity.

Written & published by: Kevin Beard Jr,

Food for thought - "Christianity" is immoral in today's society [My beliefs]

Before I begin, I will just like to take the time out to warn you about what I'm about to say about Christianity.

Warning: If you're someone who gets offended, or will get offended very easily by my own beliefs & opinions about Christianity, or if you're someone who can't handle constructive criticism towards Christianity, I recommend that you not continue to read any further. I have warned you now, so if you're still reading at this point, then I assume that you & I are on the same page.

Now let's begin:

First of all, Christianity is a very tricky topic to discuss about. Many lost souls have happened in Christianity itself. What I mean by that is that most Christians, or those who call themselves a Christian, fail to understated that Christianity is not a religion; nor is it about going to church or reading the bible. It's about having a personal relationship with God. Now, what I find very interesting about this topic is that about 80% of the Christian world misunderstands the concept of the Spiritual world, yet those who "claim" they are Christian because they are religious will bash those who choose to be spiritual instead, just because they don't "read the bible" or "go to church."

...But the truth is... religion is a joke - It's false - It's not real - It's wrong - It's immoral.

So with that said, I will stand up for all the young Teenagers, Men & Women who are great, spiritual people of society.

Now, let's talk about what Christianity really is...

To begin, Christianity is not about tenets & practices. It’s not a set of laws to be obeyed, or a creed to be accepted. It's not a religion to be followed or a social order to be lived. Being a Christian simply means completely identifying yourself with your own God, not following an organized religion, such as a church building, or observing certain religious holidays or rituals. Christianity means that Jesus means more to your heart than any person or institution on earth, spiritually. True Christianity is not about following rules & being religious, although sadly many people interpret it that way. What being a Christian is truly about is having a relationship with God & living your life to please him. That's why I've heard a lot of Christians say that Christianity is not a religion; it's a relationship with God, in which they are correct. Why? Because true Christians don't live by a set of rules, as if dinosaurs ever existed. True Christians don't have the mindset of a dinosaur age. True Christians don't need to attend church or read the bible. True Christians don't let religious people tell them who they should be, or how to live their life. True Christians know who they are deep down inside & will not get offended by what others think of them. True Christians are more educated & apply their common sense to reality on a daily basis. True Christians present their morality in today's society, to be role models & to better the world.

The cold hard truth is that religious Christians who do "deeds" that they're "told to do" by religious leaders are not saved. Most Christians who live their life off of an organized organization, who think they can get to heaven by their good deeds are mistaken. I'm not saying deeds are unimportant, because certainly they are important, but to an extent. Understand that a Christian is not saved by attending church, nor are they saved by reading the bible. We are saved by our faith in higher power. Why is that? Because faith without deeds is dead, but it's not us that does the good deeds; it's God who does the good deeds for us. So with that said, faith comes first, then comes letting God work through you, & nothing of our own.

Religion makes Christianity look bad. Why is religion bad to society?

In my opinion, religion is a bad thing because in most cases it demands money from you (especially churches) & you should know at this point that organized religion means organized crime when money is added to the equation. Religion is no good to society either because religion causes those to commit murder, by promising a heavenly reward to murderers who repent, but eternal damnation to non-believers who dedicate their lives to good works. Aside from that, religion can cause you to hate everyone who doesn't follow your own beliefs, values, or morals of life. Religion promotes ignorance, superstition, bigotry & disharmony in society. Now If everyone treated each other with love, kindness, & respect (without religion) then there would be no problems. However, religion is the ritualization of denial, & denial is unhealthy to the human psyche. Just think of all the wars & genocide that would NOT have happened if everyone just believed what they wanted to, & didn't try & force it upon everyone else. In my opinion, religion is one of the worst inventions of man. It has caused more pain than suffering. World War II was example enough: Adolf Hitler killed 2 million Jewish men, women & children just because he disagreed with their outlooks on life. Before World War II it had already caused enough pain & suffering, with people being executed & wars being waged between nations who disagreed with one another. The idea of a "God" or "Gods" is a terrible one indeed, for mankind should not worship an invisible man in the sky, they should only worship themselves & what they are worth by making their own decisions. Right now, men are blowing themselves up & killing many innocents, just because their "God" told them to. Yes I am referring to the tragedy codenamed "9/11."

However, the way I see it, there are 3 main problems with religion in today's society.

1. People give religion a free pass. Just look at the systematic problems with sexual abuse & covering up sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. There has been virtually no significant political or legal action taken to root out the problems. Had this happened within any other organization, it would have been completely shut down, but the Church gets a pass. Why is that?

2. Religion causes people to not think for themselves. You see it in the beliefs of Christianity, Islam, & any other religion. People are frequently unable or unwilling to reject religious dogma even when it is obviously false. For example, the topic of evolution is one of the main examples.

3. Religion gives people an excuse for bigotry & hatred. You see it in Islam with the way Christians & non-believers are considered infidels. You see it in Christianity with the gay marriage debate & even with race relations in some contexts.

Now, if religion is bad, then why do people go to church & read the bible?

Answer: Because going to church & reading the bible are caused by the lack of parenting.

How? Well let me explain. I'll break it down for you.

First of all, let me ask you a question. How many young Teenagers, Men & Women do you see with piercings & tattoos on their own flesh & blood? How many people do you see smoking, drinking, cursing, & swearing? How many people do you see going to late night parties to get "high & drunk?" How many people do you see running around the streets with baggy pants & clothes on by choice? How many immature people do you see picking on senseless people of society? How many fights do you see break out on a daily basis based off race, nationality, beliefs, values & morals of life? How many people do you see stereotyping others, cyber bullying others, or making innocent people commit suicide because of stupidity?

Now ask me this. Do you think when God was created, he went around & tatted his body with tattoos & piercings through his own flesh & blood? Do you think God went around & promoted smoking, drinking, cursing & swearing as a positive thing? Do you think God went around & got high & drunk, while putting others’ lives at risk? Do you think God went around the streets with baggy pants & clothes on by his choice? Do you think God was immature & picked with senseless people of society? Do you think God went around & fought those for their own race, nationality, beliefs, values, & morals of life? Do you think God created the world to stereotype others, cyber bully others, or making innocent people commit suicide because of stupidity?

Answer: No, I think not.

Now let me ask you another question. How do you think people become this way in society?

Answer: When new born babies are born, they are not born with common knowledge of how to value strong morality standards in public, nor do they know who God is. Babies & kids learn by example, so for example, if your parents (the ones who are supposed to set the examples) are raised to go partying every night while smoking & drinking in public, & your kid is sitting there & he / she is seeing this with their own eyes, your kids get influenced by those immoral acts. That's not satisfying to God because their parents are destroying their lives, when we are all put on this earth to live as long as possible. That's just 1 example out of the thousands I can think of. But aside from that, what most irresponsible parents don't understand is that when kids get older, they are supposed to be taught how to present & value strong morals & standards in public, according to God's word, from their parents who raise them. Parents who bring their kids into this world, they are responsible for teaching their kids the word of God, & they're also responsible for helping their kids build a moral foundation that's satisfying enough to God, where your kid doesn't end up repenting as much because as a parent, you were responsible enough to raise your kid on how to be a moral leader of their own. I'm not saying that repenting is bad; it's good to be given second chances. I just wish if parents disciplined & taught their kids a little bit more, on how to live by God's word, they would be better off & there would be less repenting & more confidence in what they believe in. But again, the lack of parenting is a big issue in today's society. I believe that most parents today, don't discipline & teach their kids what's moral & what's immoral anymore, & it's just frustrating. Why? Because if you're a parent, & you bring kids into this world, you're responsible for them; you don't make excuses for your kids. You're supposed to teach your kid how to build a moral foundation & help categorize their primary morals & secondary morals, as well as their perks, to the point where your kid can have a decent moral foundation with God at the end of the day, knowing that spiritually, God is happy for them & that he loves them. But you see, the problem with that is that most parents fail to grasp the concept that you MUST teach your kids at an early age on how to build a moral foundation, according to Gods word, which is what most parents fail to do nowadays, which is why young kids are going to want to look for God themselves as they get older, & the reason why they're going to look for God is simply because the lack of parenting. Most parents are NOT doing their duties of raising their kids in the spiritual sense of higher power.

What's even more sad is that when your kid starts reading the bible, he / she will not understand at first, but they will understand his word once they start reading the bible more, & they will end up repenting, repenting & repenting, & the reason why they are going to end up repenting is because the parents (who are supposed to teach them) refused, or never taught their kids on how to live a spiritual life according to Gods word.

Why do young Teenagers, Men & Women look for God?

The answer is quite simple.

When it comes to only human nature, the picture looks like this:

1. Parents
2. Young adults
3. Teenagers
4. Kids
5. New born babies

When it comes to spiritual nature, the picture looks like this (in order)

1. God
2. Parents
3. Young adults
4. Teenagers
5. Kids
6. New born babies

Since God is #1 (being that he's the highest power in this case) how this is SUPPOSED to work is that God spreads his word down to the parents, then the parents are responsible for teaching God's word to the young adults, which the young adults are responsible for teaching the teenagers, which the teenagers are responsible for teaching the kids, & so forth. This type of logical explanation is supposed to spread Gods love spiritually, to all the younger generations,

Now do you want to know the problem of why people look for God?

Simple. Check this out.

1. Parents
2. Young adults
3. Teenagers
4. Kids
5. New born babies

Notice how "God" is out of the picture. Now what happens? Notice how everyone gets bumped up 1 on the chart. Now where's God at in the picture? In this sense, the parent's (being that they refuse to teach their kids who God is, regardless of religion) are now responsible for whatever they teach the younger generation, which goes back to my explanation before, of why so many young Teenagers, Men & Women repent, because of the stupidity of the parents responsible for teaching their kids what's moral & immoral.

Do you want to know how young teenagers, Men & Woman look for God?

Simple:

1. God
2. Young adults
3. Teenagers
4. Kids
5. New born babies

Notice how the parents are now out of the picture. Notice how God is in control now. The parents get excluded out of the picture, now everyone gets bumped up again. But this time, who's spreading the love & peace around? Who's highest power in this case? Spiritually?

See, this is what happens when irresponsible parents don't take care of their kids, & this is why young Teenagers, Men & Women look for God, & this is why they go to church & read the bible, & claim they are "Christian" because of it. This is the only logical statement that makes sense.

Now, when newer generations enter this world, the picture will look like this:

1. God
2. Young adults, which are now (Parents)
3. Teenagers, which are now (Young adults)
4. Kids, which are now (Teenagers)
5. New born babies, which are now (Kids)

As you can see, when newer generations enter this world, the picture becomes a recycle of what I first explained about human nature.

1. Parents
2. Young adults
3. Teenagers
4. Kids
5. New born babies

This process goes around in circles, & the parents will always be held responsible for future generations.

What gets me is that parents today, who will come up to me & say,

"Well, I go to church / read the bible in my life, but I also had parents who took me to church & read the bible."

Sure, that may be true. However, the reason being is because the parents (of their parents) (of their parents’ parents) (of their parents’, parents’, parents,) & so fourth, had never taught their kids from past generations on how to live by God's word. So when Kids grow up & have religion hardwired into their daily lifestyle by those who raise them, they will then become religious parents who will grow up to make their kids religious, in which the kids will become religious parents & will raise more kids who grow up religious & so forth. This reason being is because the generation recycle is corrupted by those who refuse to teach their kids how to expand their minds & believe in the Spiritual world without being religious.

For all the responsible Men & Women out here in this world who have raised their kids to become well educated spiritual people of society without needing to go to church or reading the bible to figure out how to live a good life, or how to satisfy God, I applaud you for numerous reasons.

Now, I wouldn't consider myself lucky, nor did I ever say I was perfect, but I live my life off of morality. I have been blessed enough to have parents who believed in God, spiritually, but didn't go to church, nor read the bible for over 20 years, but yet, taught me how to build a moral foundation since I was 3 years old. I'm 22 now & have kept & valued my own morals for 19 years now. Need I say more? I'm living proof of what a real Christian is without calling myself "religious" or forcing my beliefs on to others. I don't let religion control me. I'm spiritual so I keep an open mind & believe in what I want to believe in.

Now, here's my personal relationship with God [without religion being shoved down my throat]

Broken down into moral format with 3 sections...

(Section 1): [Perks]

1. Acceptance (Taught by myself) [No bible / church needed.]

2. Faithfulness (Taught by myself) [No bible / church needed.]

3. Honesty (Taught by myself) [No bible / church needed.]

4. Patience (Taught by myself) [No bible / church needed.]

5. Respectfulness (Taught by myself.) [No bible / church needed.]

6. Loving & helping others (Taught by myself.) [No bible / church needed.]

7. Inspirational figure (social media) [No bible / church needed.]

(Section 2): [Primary morals] (Permanent)

1. 23 year old virgin who's 100% pure & clean. [No, I didn't get this from the bible] This was my own choice to wait until after marriage. However, I have no problem being around people who aren't virgins. It's called respect & acceptance.

2. No piercings / holes (100% skin pure & fresh) [This is my own choice.] I have nothing against those who have piercings. It's called respect & acceptance.

3. No tattoos (100% skin pure & fresh) [Again, this was my own choice.] Again, I have nothing against people with tattoos. It's called respect & acceptance.

(Section 3): [Secondary morals] (Non-permanent)

1. Non-smoker / drinker (Has never touched a cigarette / bottle of alcohol or wine before) Body is 100% clean. [This was my own choice not to smoke or drink. This is just who I am.] Like I said, I have nothing against those who do drink or smoke. It's called respect & acceptance.

2. Doesn't attend any parties involving sex, drugs, smokers, or unknown people. [This is just who I am.] Again, I have nothing against those who do attend parties. It's called respect & acceptance.

3. Doesn't curse / swear in public (I'm fully aware of what to say before speaking) [I don't like cursing & swearing to begin with.] I don't like being around people who curse & swear, as I will walk elsewhere. However, I will not try to correct their language for them.

With that being said, I'm very blessed to have great parents who taught me how to live my life without religion, but also taught me how to develop a moral foundation from the ground up so that I could learn on my own. My relationship with God is currently 18 years strong & counting. It never seems to fail me.

Now, to be a Christian, all you have to do is believe in it & have faith, nothing more. It's that easy. No, you don't need to attend church, or read the bible to be a Christian, because God is with you everywhere you go. You can pray to him, you can worship him, you can communicate with him; you can do whatever you want with him, but going to church does not save you any more than sleeping in a garage makes you a car. Going to church is just where you can fellowship with other Christians & worship God together. This saying was coined to make people realize that you can't just go to church & call yourself a Christian, when going to church doesn't make you a Christian. Why? Well because Christianity is simply a system of beliefs, & a building cannot change that. In the world we live in, that's full of spiritual & cultural diversity, there are many belief structures & all of them can vary, but we have to keep an open mind to all possibilities as such things cannot be proven as correct or incorrect with any degree of certainty. Those who claim they are Christian because they read the bible & attend church, are religious people whose "set of rules" are hardwired into their minds, forcing their "set of rules" on the rest of us because they do not have an open-mind & therefore they believe that everyone else in this world is wrong. The truth be told is that you don't have to be involved in church to have a relationship with the almighty God. Let's be real here: How many serial killers & child sex offenders attended church on a regular basis & even worked in a church before? At least a few I know from the past. So my point is, going to church doesn't mean a damn thing except for the fact that you went to church. However, the new testament contains lots of guidance on how to return the peace & love with words & actions without religion, but none of it is required for salvation. In fact, it's only desired as an expression of gratitude. Religious Christians who are cocky about themselves & think they can "override" any other Christian because they read the bible everyday or attend church every Sunday, I got news for you & that is: It's not important how much bible knowledge you have. The important thing is to understand, or particularly understand about salvation. My parents always told me that religion is of man, spirituality is of God. The bible is nothing but guidelines & stories that help you live your life. If you're a real Christian then you do what your "book" tells you to do, even when it's not Sunday. Why read about it, when you can be about it? With all due respect, if you don't like attending church, then don't go; it's only a building, nothing more. I personally don't like church myself. I personally recommend to take time to find your own personal connection with God instead of being told by religious people on how to find it. What most Christians don't understand is that the way to be right with God is by earning your way. It is based on works, not grace. Understand that Christianity is different from every religion in this aspect: all other religions (including Mormonism, Islam, Hinduism, & Buddhism) state that you must earn the right to be reconciled with God. It is by what you do in this life (good deeds or bad deeds) that determines your eternal destiny. However, Christianity is completely different from this, & for the 20th time, it is not religion.

Now, for those who will "bash" & "hate" on me because I give a deep analysis of what Christianity really is, & you don't, doesn't mean you can pull out your "bible" & try to prove me wrong. I didn't write about this topic to pull "bible" verses out. I didn't write about this topic to pull "scriptures" out. I didn't write this to satisfy you. I didn't write about this to try to force the truth upon you. I'm only giving you a reality check, & nothing more. With all due respect, if you disagree with all of this, that's fine. I have nothing against you, nor do I see you any different then who I am. In the end, we are all loved by God.

I appreciate your time in reading my thoughts about "Christianity"

Thanks for the love & support from you all...
