Special holiday message - Christmas day:
Christmas time is not about having a few days off from school or work where we relax & sit around all day. Christmas is truly a day where we celebrate the birth of Christ, "Jesus." When I see the word "Christmas" I see the word "Christ." He came because we're special to him. He died on the cross for us to live in his blood & give us hope of eternal life. For that reason alone, I am very grateful & blessed to still be alive in him.
With that being said, Christmas is very important to me because as you all may know, I take my faith & what I believe in very seriously. I personally like this time of year for Christmas because I get to celebrate the birth of my God by celebrating with friends & family. Christmas is about truly caring for one another & being blessed & happy with what you have & how far you've come in life. I personally love being able to share & enjoy giving back to others by giving them gifts that they would never expect. I love seeing smiles on faces that are desperately in need. It just warms my heart whenever I do good deeds for anyone. Aside from that, I also love all the beautiful lights & decorations that go along with Christmas, which adds to the spirit. In addition, I love the food & the drinks that go along with Christmas as well & also the presents that are associated with this time of year. So overall, the peacefulness, doing nice things for others, sharing love to others & the spread of happiness & joy while celebrating God's birthday is why Christmas is personally my favorite time of the year.
Lastly, let's remember that Christmas is not for counting the things that you have lost or don't have, but rather for counting the blessings you still have in your life, as well as everything that comes with it. So with that said, always keep a warm heart & spread the joy & happiness around you, not only on Christmas day, but everyday that you live. That's what we need in today's world.
May the bright & festive glow of Christmas candle warm the days all the year through. I Hope you have a wonderful time enjoying Christmas day & I wish everyone a happy new year that will bring many more blessings into peoples lives.
