Gay & lesbian marriage have equal rights.

Personal message - My thoughts about Gay / lesbian marriage:

So I am here writing about this topic because I heard that the US Supreme court has finally legalized same sex marriage worldwide - something they should of done a long time ago, right?

Anyway, I am here to give you my thoughts about gay / lesbian marriage, so let's get started.

First of all, there are things on this earth that nobody will ever understand. As a person who is straight & also supports gay marriage for what it is, I fully respect & accept gay marriage all throughout this nation & I have absolutely nothing against those who are gay, lesbian or married together. Why would I be opposed to same sex marriage? It is not for me to judge. It is not for anybody to judge. As a nation, we all need to come together & accept people for who they are, even if they're gay, lesbian or married. It doesn't matter if you don't understand why people become married gay or lesbian. That does not give you a valid reason to shut gay / lesbian marriage down just because of the unknown that you fear. What you need to understand that this life is full of things that nobody understands. You could ask yourself questions all day long about why gay / lesbian people are the way they are & you would still not have the answer at the end of the day.

Now, If 2 gay Men & Woman decide to get married, then it's neither right or wrong. It's simply called acceptance & freedom, & I believe that every human on this earth must have equal rights, whether YOU think that gay / lesbian marriage is right or wrong. Whether you're someone who's straight or gay, you are a person just like the rest of us & you should be treaty equally & with respect. Gay people should have the same equal rights as straight people do is what I'm trying to say. If a gay Man or Woman chooses to marry their partner, then so be it. Why question it? It is none of anyone's business except for the couple who is married. It is their right to marry whoever they want & it is their right to be with the person of their dreams. Why would you take that right away from them? Why would you shatter their dreams? What I'm trying to say is that there are a lot of hateful people in this world who are so ignorant & biased towards gay / lesbian couples, that unfortunately, these are the kinds of people that have become one-sided towards what THEY want to believe in, rather then being open-minded to others beliefs or feelings. How can we claim to live in a society that values freedom, equality, & justice while at the same time denying people equality under the law & the freedom to live their lives as they see fit for them? I guarantee you that if more people learned tolerance & tried to have some empathy for other people, instead of putting others down for what they are, then this world would be an even more & accepting place to live in then it already is.

Now, I'm not a preacher & I will not sit here & try to convince people to accept something they simply refuse to accept. At the same time, however, I am personally not going to sit here & judge, hurt & tell gay / lesbian couples that gay marriage is wrong, because in my eyes love is love. It doesn't matter who you love, how you love, why you love, because at the end of the day, love always wins the battle. However, going back to what I said about ignorant & hateful people who can't accept gay marriage, I just cannot comprehend why anyone in this earth sees love as a bad thing. You can love whoever you want. For those who don't support gay marriage, just Imagine what it's like to live with the fact that loving someone that you love with your entire being is wrong. Being constantly shunned, neglected, or outright wronged would not be a great life, would it? This happens because you love someone the same gender as you. How would you feel about that? My point is, love comes in all different forms, & being homosexual doesn't change things. There's a reason as to why sex is called "making love," & it's the same thing as a man & a woman, homosexuals want to make love to their partners as well. That is what I believe. What is logically wrong with that?

I try very hard to understand gay / lesbian marriage, & I am willing to embrace gay / lesbian marriage with those who do not fully understand the concept of what "acceptance" & "freedom" really means & I will not be one of those defensive people who shut gay marriage down simply because nobody can answer "why" to such questions that we don't truly know, or I will not try to console some almighty God to see if it is right or wrong, for we are all created equal regardless of who we are as a person. As I've said before, nobody has room to judge anyone - I don't care who you are. That includes judging by someone's appearance, how much they weigh, how they smell, what their color of their skin is, how many people they sleep with, what religion they are, who they love, what their sexuality is & much more. All of these qualities are not up for us to judge or decide. You should not hate or judge others just because they are deemed different from you. Why? Because it's a waste of your own precious life. We must live our own individual lives & be the people that we are. We must be accepting to others & good karma will come around to others. With that said, just live your life & let others live theirs. At the end of the day, there's no need to judge gay marriage as a bad thing, because everyone has their own definition of happiness. Have you ever thought about that? Think about it.

That concludes the end of this discussion about "same sex marriage."

I appreciate those who chime in on my blogs & have been very supportive of my blogs throughout the months. I appreciate the love from all of you...
