My message of encouragement #1 - Moving on from the past:
It's hard to accept thing's in life, but you can't change the past. You can't go back & manipulate things to the way you wanted them to happen. If that were the case, life would be meaningless & boring & just not worth living. However, you can change the future & that's a beautiful thing about life. Yes, we all have made mistakes in the past. Yes, we all had experienced horrible situations. Yes, we all have made decisions that we regret. Yes, we have all had our bad days in the past, & just in general. Realize that life is too short to start your day with broken pieces of yesterday, it will definitely destroy your wonderful today & ruin your great tomorrow. There's no better feeling than waking up to a brand new day. It reminds me just how much God loves me & that he has a greater plan for me in the future. I choose to stay positive about a lot of situations in my life right now because God is good & he never left my side. I choose to have a smile on my face, no matter how rough or easy my past has been. I've learned that the search for happiness Is the main reason of unhappiness, but we must accept the way life comes at us at this point on & move forward in life, & I promise you that you will find happiness In every moment you live. When we look at our past, we need to realize that as we grow older, it's not the things we did that we often regret, but the things we didn't do. That's why God created tomorrows for us to make things up. Tomorrow becomes a brand new day to live with new blessings, opportunities, & beginnings. With that being said, you should never be ashamed of the scars that life has left you with in the past. A scar means the hurt is over, wound is closed, you endured the pain & God has healed you. As long as you put the past behind as a lesson, you'll have such a gorgeous & bright future ahead of you. Knowing that things were meant to happen. Knowing that each day you will learn something so that you keep growing to be a better, more educated person. Life is like a rope, twined in all its complexities & yet weaved into one marvelous stream that you have the chance, you use something amazing from. So grab hold of it.
P.s. I have lived & learned. When you leave God out of it, it can't work out. That goes for anything & everything. Whatever you do, make sure you include God. Remember, when things look bad, always remember that God is good.
