Special holiday message - Fourth of July:
Many people seem to forget the true meaning of what the Fourth of July really is. It's not all about having off from work, or having BBQ's, or social gatherings. Don't get me wrong, it's part of celebrating, but the more important question you need to understand is why you are celebrating it.
The fourth of July means freedom & Independence. It's ultimately a day of celebration. Why? Because we are as free, or more free, than most of the 6 billion people on this planet. American independence is a good thing & has been a positive influence on the world, just think of all the different people who come to live in the USA. However, at the same time, this doesn't mean the USA is a "flawless" place to live in. We do have our fair share of issues, but our independence & freedom will help solve those problems - one at a time.
Although we should honor our hero's everyday, today is a very special day where we should all come together to reflect on all the Men & Women in uniform who have died & continue to die to protect our freedom. It serves as an important reminder that the evil that goes on in this world is real & that the good will always conquer in the end. Think about it, these group of Men & Woman are willing to risk it all, their futures, their fortunes & their lives because they believe in the idea that liberty & freedom are more important than any of that. To me, it's nothing short of amazing that what started as a rough assembly of untrained Men & Woman using whatever weapons they could get their hands on, managed to become the somewhat more polished continental army & went on to defeat the army of what was, at the time, the most powerful nation in the world.
On this day, I also honor those who have fought for us since that time. These Men & Woman who are long gone are no less heroic in their sacrifices for liberty & freedom, as they have continued the work started so long ago by those who fought the first fight for our freedom & in my opinion, these Men & Woman deserve to be honored just as much as those who founded our country & are currently serving. These Men & Woman will never be forgotten.
We are very blessed & grateful for our independence & freedom that comes with your ultimate sacrifice. We are very grateful & thankful for all your hardships, whether it is a war or not. We also take great pride in the birth of our country & I believe that everyday, we spark our vision of peace & prosperity for all who wish to embrace it like true Americans should.
Thank you to all who have served, or still currently serving.
You're doing a phenomenal job!
Happy Fourth of July!
