Tragic event - 9/11:
On September 11th, 2001, our country changed forever. As we remember 9/11 & those who lost their lives & also loved ones, other innocent people lost their lives because the evil took strike & left a scar of damage in it's path of destruction. It's the day that changed & affected peoples lives forever. On that same exact day that this tragic event happened, heroes were born as well & they fought till the end. This event has left a permanent scar that will always remind us of the tragedy that happened years ago, but still lives on today. It's been 14 years since our country was under attack, & it still seems like it was only yesterday that this happened, but the reality of it is that time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will always remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire & ash, the last phone calls that were made, & the funerals of the victims, including mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, & etc. I'll also never forget where I was, I'll never forget what I was doing, & I'll never forget how scared I was for everyone at the time.
Today is a day we honor those whose lives were taken too soon & those who fought & also gave their life to protect us & our freedom that we have today. We must all stand up together as a nation for all the lost souls that were gone too soon. May everyone who has been affected by this tragic event of 9/11 rest in peace.
